Learn to sell micro digital products : if I generated for Adobe in 3 months 37302 USD – Dollars, I can do this for my own projects (declic)

This happened past 5 months, let me tell you about because I was really surprised. From freelance services to micro-product for high ticket (in software) sales confidence : the unexpected sales bootcamp that’s accelerating my indie hacker journey.

If I can generate $37,302 USD in just 3 months selling Adobe solutions as a technical support & sales agent, then I can definitely sell my own micro AI products.

This realization hit me hard over the past six months. While building my AI agents for EdTech, I decided to dive into real-world sales and support. Here’s the full story — and the lessons I’m applying directly to my own projects.

The setup : From digital nomad to international sales arena

As a digital nomad since 2022 and an indie hacker newbie, I’ve spent years delivering B2B services (webmarketing, training, consulting). But selling my own micro-products? That felt completely different.

So I took a strategic detour: Teleperformance in Portugal.

Why Portugal? The deal was excellent for a “tremplin” (launchpad):

  • Relocation to Lisbon with a company-provided apartment (deducted from salary but still a huge win compared to market prices).
  • Structured training.
  • The chance to work on premium international projects.

I landed on the Adobe account. Perfect timing — while I’m building AI agents and micro-SaaS, I get paid to master high-value sales and support at scale.

The first 8 weeks : from Zero to battle-ready

The onboarding was intense but incredibly effective :

  • Comprehensive training on Adobe products and customer journeys.
  • Shadowing experienced agents.
  • Building my personal “bible” — a living document of scripts, objections handling, best practices, and workflows.

Then came the real arena: the open-space floor.

Yes, open spaces are terrible for deep focus (especially in support/sales where concentration is everything). But for a few months? It was formative. You learn fast, stay accountable, and absorb energy from the team (this point is the “oupsi” point).

The Adobe clients were inspiring : professionals and companies investing seriously in creative tools. This wasn’t low-ticket; it was high-intent, high-value conversations every day.

The Results: $37,302 USD in 3 Months

I won’t share every KPI, but the number speaks for itself: $37,302 generated in revenue over three months.

This wasn’t magic. It came from:

  • Consistent application of training.
  • Deep listening and problem-solving.
  • Turning technical support into consultative sales.
  • Persistence through challenging days.

Most importantly, it proved something powerful : I can sell complex, micro, valuable solutions at scale.

Why this experience Is a game-changer for my indie hacker projects

I used to think: “I’m good at services, but product sales are different.”

This Adobe chapter destroyed that limiting belief.

Key Takeaways for indie hackers & solopreneurs

  • Side quests can be your best investment. A temporary role in sales/support can fast-track your product skills.
  • High-ticket environments train you faster. Working with premium clients (like Adobe users) raises your standards.
  • Build your own “bible”. Document everything — processes, wins, failures. It becomes your superpower.
  • International experience compounds. Exposure to global customers helps when internationalizing your own products.
  • Momentum is everything. Even if it’s not your forever path, the revenue and skills fund and fuel your indie projects.
  • Environnement is everything.

I’m not saying everyone should follow my path (sur-mesure btw). But if you’re struggling with the “how do I actually sell my micro-product?” question, find ways to practice real sales conversations.

What’s Next for Me

I’m doubling down on my 8 micro AI agents experiment ecosystem conceived to be integrated for EdTech. Progressively. This require specific skills you have to recognize to know what to learn then learn apply for yourself. The sales muscles I built in Portugal (Honestly let’s balance : the formation was really effective on place. And even if, environnement cool with hidden less cool things but it’s worth it, temporary),are now being applied to my own landing pages (one by one like a puzzle), outreach, and (current and future launches).

The goal remains the same : build useful AI tools that help educators and learners while creating sustainable indie income.

Techie yours,
